Lemon-Garlic Tuna Steak (serves four)

Ingredients:

  • four 4-ounce tuna steaks
  • 1-3 minced garlic cloves (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Combine marinade ingredients thoroughly and set a small amount aside (about ¼). Place the tuna steaks in the rest of the marinade and turn to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare grill for high heat.
  3. Lightly oil grill grate. Apply steaks to heat and discard used marinade. Cook steaks for 5-6 minutes on each side. When the steaks have reached your desired temperature, remove from heat and plate. Dress the steaks with the remaining fresh marinade. Enjoy!
